‘Buerk! The Newsical’ comes from the minds of Tom Bailey and Greg Jameson. Using TV newsreader Michael Buerk as the story’s hero, ‘Buerk! The Newsical’ is a fictional look back to the 80s re-imagining Buerk’s career at the BBC. Featuring characters based on iconic TV personalities including Moira Stuart and Ian McCaskill the show is a hilarious and irreverent look at what life could have been like for Buerk.

With original songs penned by the show’s creators Tom Bailey and Greg Jameson along with musicians Allan Stelmach and Mark Kingston, ‘Buerk! The Newsical’ is the funniest new British show to grace the stage in recent memory.
