Lunchtime Lectures: From Toys To Collectables: A Century Of Toy Soldiers: Roger Steam

This lecture places the National Army Museum's collection of toy soldiers in a wider context. Topics covered include famous men and their toy soldiers, as well as the British toy soldier industry with its leading firm, Britains, and the more recent developments brought about by the end of hollow cast production in 1966.

Dr Roger Stearn, FRHistS, is a member of the British Commission for Military History and a former Research Editor of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
