John Coltrane's masterpiece is re-envisioned in a complete live performance on the final day of this years Meltdown Festival, curated by James Lavelle.

Featuring master flautist and composer Rowland Sutherland's score Enlightenment (In the Spirit of A Love Supreme by John Coltrane).

To be performed by a stellar 15 piece ensemble of some of the UK's finest musicians in jazz, improvised and non-Western music, with the superb vibraphonist Orphy Robinson as MD of Jazz Warriors International. Both concerts will be presented by the curator Paul Bradshaw of Chaser Productions.

Rowland Sutherland's score ‘Enlightenment (In the Spirit of A Love Supreme by John Coltrane)’ was commissioned by Chaser Productions and funded by PRS for Music Foundation in 2012.
