Rags The Musical: In Concert

Rags The Musical in Concert is a fabulous one-night-only musical that will be at the Lyric Theatre. All proceeds will go to Centrepoint- the UK's leadinh charity for the homeless.

Originally produced on Broadway, Rags was awarded a Tony Award Nomination for Best Musical and many subsequent productions across the USA and the UK. For one night only, Charles Strouse (Annie), Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and Joseph Stein (Fiddler on the Roof) bring back this forgotten musical where the American dream is not to be, leaving immigrants to fight for labour equality and experience disappointment and tragedy in the process, even while finding romance.

With a fascinating multicultural score, encompassing Jazz, Irish folk and Middle Eastern influences, Rags is not to be missed.
