Gravenhurst
Also known as Nick Talbot, Gravenhurst has built a foundation for himself and others in the Bristol music scene with his own label, Silent Age Records, establishing a stronger-than-ever DIY presence in the city and setting him up for signing to Warp Records. The ever-changing sound of Gravenhurst is currently inspiring musicians and fans across the country with beautiful guitars, soulful vocals and haunting lyrics of murder and corruption.

Woodpecker Wooliams
A charming one woman experimentalist. With an extraordinary bag of tricks, employing vocals, kora, celtic harp, clarinet, harmonium, glockenspiels and whistles, she conjures bewitching freeform lo-fi chants and sings folk songs of mystery and secrecy.

Eyes & No Eyes
Eyes & No Eyes are a four piece London based band with a clear love of all things experimental. Via looped cello, breakbeats, and dense electric guitar textures they have created something that incorporates their love of less conventional offerings - tying together the worlds of the experimental and the accessible with beautiful clarity.
The result is music which creates a sense of old world drama and romance transposed into a modern context, a hypnotic mixture of the familiar and the unexpected.

We Are Willow
Haunting violin, melancholy minimalistic guitar and Butler's rainy grey voice build up to an astonishing climax that deserves far more exposure, than the oxygen of publicity my blog can generate.
We Are Willow tour dates
Rachael Dadd
Folked-up unique singer/songwriter with a green guitar! Rachael Dadd's music harks back to Joni Mitchell and similar folk songstresses of her era, with a sense of innovation in her heartwarming songs.

Ichi
Ichi, from Nagoya in Japan, takes the notion of a one-man band to new limits - combining steel-drum with ping-pong balls, tape-loops with double bass and trumpet with bongos, all in the space of one short set.

Adrian Roye & The Exiles
Adrian Roye’s richly emotive vocals and lyrical guitar playing lie at the heart of the Exiles' music. Roye’s songs can veer dramatically in mood between haunting, soaring and infectiously upbeat, mining a rich seam of narratives about characters or states of being that are usually overlooked or consigned to the margins. There’s a strong folk and afrobeat influence to the music, with cello, mandolin and highlife guitar being a regular feature, and other roots genres make their way into the mix as well: here and there you can hear hints of reggae, calypso and funk.

Orlando Seale And The Swell
Orlando Seale And The Swell started out as a collaboration between Orlando's band and orchestral players from The Southbank Sinfonia. For the Sinfonians it was an opportunity to explore a very different sort of playing and creating from their orchestral work, this collaboration became The Swell, making songs of night and the city, the lost and found on the underground, the club-card redeemers seeking salvation in supermarkets, and all the beautiful morons stumbling about the city.
'If Jeff Buckley was still alive, and if he had been English, and if he had discovered orchestras, that’s probably what he would have aimed for.' Gunilla Karlson-BBC London
