If you love weekend music festivals but hate lining up for public showers or sleeping in a tent, London's Wireless Festival 2010 is perfect for you. Set in the heart of the City in beautiful Hyde Park, the sixth edition of this annual festival puts an eclectic array of today's most popular rock, dance and pop acts on your doorstep. With this year's event expanded to include a third night, the line up features established names along with younger up-and-coming artists. Wireless also features a massive beer garden, interactive games, plenty of food stalls and chill out areas. Keep checking back for line-up additions!
Chip
Formerly known as Chipmunk, Chip is a major player on the UK hip hop scene. The grime star from Tottenham, Jahmaal Noel Fyffe released his debut album 'I Am Chipmunk' at the tender age of 18 in 2009. By that point in his life, he'd already picked up a MOBO for Best UK Newcomer and holds another for Best Hip-Hop Act (2008). Follow-up album 'Transition' saw him duet with Chris Brown on the track 'Champion', plus rack up yet another top 5 hit.

Chase & Status (Live)
Chase (Will) & Status (Saul) have been hailed as 'the most exciting producers in the UK today'. They met at Manchester University through their mutual love of drum and bass in the mid nineties and have DJ'd ever since. Their frenetic formula of raging riffs and high octane breakdowns earned their acclaimed album 'No More Idols' double platinum status, whilst their baffling, on-the-fly manipulation of dirty, ferocious beats has attracted a devoted global fan base, who live and breathe that tumultuous bass driven sound.

Born in England, Slash (real name Saul Hudson) is widely considered to be one of the greatest rock guitar players of all time. An original member of iconic rock band Guns N’ Roses, the band that band dominated the 1980s and 90s music scene selling more than 100 million albums worldwide and ushering in a decade of hard charging rock music. After the band's break-up, Slash went on to critical acclaim in his personal project, Slash's Snakepit, and global success with supergroup Velvet Revolver. 2010 saw Slash release his eponymous debut solo album to widespread critical and commercial acclaim.

Friendly Fires
Friendly Fires lie somewhere between the poppiness of Snap!, the funkiness of Prince, and the electronic dance-iness of Daft Punk. Friendly Fires were the first unsigned band ever to play Transmission on Channel 4, shown on 9th November 2007. Their self-titled debut album was nominated for the 2009 Mercury Awards and the band have since gone from strength to strength, nominated for two Brit Awards in 2010, and releasing their Top 10 album, 'Pala', in 2011.

Tinie Tempah
Tinie Tempah originated from South London, gaining notoriety in 2006 with his underground debut single 'Wifey'. Later, Tinie Tempah (real name Patrick Junior C. Okongwu) would come to top the UK charts in 2010 with 'Pass Out', a song 'about getting so out of it that you pass out'. In less than six months Tinie Tempah has gone from underground buzz artist to bona fide pop phenomenon.

Detroit hip-hop group whose name Dirty Dozen (aka D-12) belies their six-piece line-up. Formed in the early 1990s, the band included a young Eminem amongst their number; something which cannot have hindered their subsequent rise to fame.

Mr Hudson
It takes someone with foresight and imagination to pull-off the cross-pollination of hip hop and r&b beats with classic song writing, but in doing so Mr Hudson has hit upon a winning formula. A self-confessed outsider, this mixing of styles comes easy to an artist who has become the undefeated Jump Off Producer Champion of 2005. Championed by the likes of Sway and 1Xtra DJ Semtex, who were surprised to find themselves firm fans of the trilby-doffing newcomer, Mr Hudson's hybrid sound is attracting interest from all corners of the music industry.

The hip-hop/electro duo whose name has been on the tip of everyone's tongues, since the release of their 2007 single Thou Shalt Always Kill. Professor Green
One of the UK's best freestylers/rappers, Professor Green (real name Stephen Manderson) made a name for himself as a battle MC from Hackney, East London, winning the prestigious freestyle night 'Jump-Off' twice in a row, which brought him to the attention of talent scouts and The Streets band member Mike Skinner. Littering his lyrics with wry pop culture references, a sharp sense of humour and honesty, Professor Green has produced and collaborated with a host of musicians, including Lily Allen.

Bluey Robinson
Born in Sweden and raised in London, Bluey is a captivating, charismatic act whose songwriting encapsulates a throwback feel with a futuristic twist. Retaining a distinct British personality, there are also echoes of Prince, Otis Redding, The Jackson 5, Cee-Lo Green and Bruno Mars in Bluey's sonic spectrum.

Wiley is one of the founders of 'grime' music, but has since gone on to start up his own group. Mixing an electronic beat with a kicking hip hop beat, Wiley is grime music's most famous, and best loved artist, influencing all those young artists who are coming through on the scene. Wiley is an MC and a producer, which is really telling in his musical style and arrangements.

Talay Riley
20-year-old urban pop artist Talay Riley is already a familiar name within the music industry. A year ago, Talay had his first UK #1 single with Chipmunk's 'Oopsy Daisy', a song he wrote, following it with a UK Top 10 as artist and co-writer on Chipmunk's 'Look For Me'. Now he releases debut single 'Humanoid' - a dark and edgy urban pop track that merges robotic beats, cutting edge production and a killer chorus to create a song that is instant and exciting.

Chiddy Bang
Chiddy Bang are MC Chiddy and DJ/producer Xaphoon Jones from Philadelphia. They formed during their first year at college and their musical career gathered momentum online via 'The Swelly Express' mixtape which was made available on the band's myspace. Word quickly spread via blogs and the mixtape was downloaded 80,000 times in a month.
