My Youth
My Youth is a band based in London, England. Having influences such as Bon Iver, Wilco, The National, Arcade Fire, The XX , Flaming Lips, Vampire Weekend, among others, they have created original songs that are both upbeat and heartfelt.
The band was formed by Anna Lee Schmand Mallen and Sigurd Krogh Hammerum after meeting at London Music School in 2010. The pair quickly started to practice regularly together developing their first original material and starting to play shows acoustically around London. Recently a full band was put together adding the members Benedict Elsworthy and Jonathan Mynette.
