Burns Night Ceilidh Club

Enjoy Burns Night in London. Celebrate the life and work of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns in traditional style: eating, drinking and dancing.

During the night there will be 3 hours of ceilidh dancing. Don't worry if you have never done it before. All the dances are explained by an experienced caller and you'll pick it up in no time.

At half time (around the 9:20pm) the Haggis will be piped in. The sound is incredible and stirring; feel the hair stand up on the back of your neck. There will be a recital of the address to the haggis. This is Burns' ode to the haggis, runs to several verses and extols the virtues of the haggis. The haggis is then piped off stage and the dancing starts again and goes on to 11PM.

Between approx 7:15pm and 10pm you will be able to get your own portion of haggis, neeps (turnips) and tatties (potatoes). This is served buffet style and there will be vegetarian and meat haggis available.

There's a cloakroom and a bar available. The dance floor is one of the largest in London.

There is no dress code, but lots of people will be in tartan (and you'll look good in it too!)

What better way to chase away the winter blues than to come along and have 3 of the best hours of fun, dance, food, drink, poetry, piping.
