Tonight Matthew... front man of The (incredible) Dixie Ticklers, leading UK composer and heavily sought after Jazz clarinet player Mr Dom James is.... Benny Goodman. What better hat to don with a patrol of swingers in the house, than that of the illustrious 'King of Swing'. With a crowded career, spanning more than six decades, Goodman had an almost unparalleled impact on popular music and the importance of the clarinet in both jazz and classical music; the popularity of the "big band" format being just one of the legacies of this musical giant.
