‘A Bud or Two for Jake: a celebration of the music of Jake Thackray’
This one-off event celebrates the music and life of Jake Thackray, one of the finest singer-songwriters of the last 50 years. Taking his cue from French chansonniers like Jaques Brel and George Brassons, Thackray was a totally unique writer and performer, delivering stories full of warmth, humour, despair, and pathos with an astonishing lyrical agility.
The night will be headlined by John Watterson aka Fake Thackray, long-recognised as the best Jake tribute act in the UK today.
