About this event
Live soul jazz on a Sunday afternoon from The Jazz Meet house band featuring Jake Telford on sax, Jessica Lauren on keys, and a rotating ensemble of some of London's finest session musicians. DJ support this week comes from Jazz Meet residents Nik Weston (Mukatsuku Records / GUYNAMUKAT) and Rob Coley from 5pm. Arrive a little earlier to enjoy Floripa's Brazilian Sunday Roasts from 1pm, and to take in a film with our Domingo Cineclub.
The Jazz Meet Band
This live soul jazz outfit have been plying their trade around London town for numerous years and have brought their boundless enthusiasm and experience to many an event. Led by Jake Telford on sax and Jessica Lauren on keys, the band features a rotating cast of the city's brightest and seasoned session musicians, who supply the jazz, Latin and Afro tinged grooves.

DJ Rob Coley
Rob's love for music spans hiphop, soul, house, jazz and Afro Latin rhythms, dipping into the past and present while keeping up with new trends. Rob has held down a number of residencies over the past 10 years and is responsible for organising and promoting the annual Soul Identity Summer Boat Parties. As DJ and promoter of The Jazz Meet, he can currently be found behind the decks of the new Brazilian restaurant / club Floripa twice a month, alongside some of London's freshest live jazz talent.
