Yousef has had quite the 2012. A brilliantly received second album has been combined with a slew of killer singles and a hotly lusted after record label in Circus Recordings, further establishing the aural snapshot of the club into the releases realm. He was recently asked once again to provide an Essential Mix off the back of Circus' decade of dance, the result met with widespread acclaim by the dance music community. It was emblematic of the floor wrecking which has been his template since the mid nineties, DJ sets traversing house and techno that ooze with funk and charisma.
