Derrick Carter is acknowledged as one of the best and most technically proficient house DJs in the world. One of the pinnacles of Chicago house music's '90s wave, with innovative productions, flawless technical skills and an effortlessly joyful attitude of rocking a crowd. His sets are rooted in house, but he freely travels outside conformative club tastes, incorporating old-school disco, and whatever else catches his fancy. Above all, Derrick is respected by most as one of the best DJs in the world.

As an established DJ with several years behind the decks, Adam Unsworth had always wanted to move into production. Graham Lord at this stage was already producing his own music. They crossed paths at legendary club Out InThe Sticks during 2000 and almost immediately Manchester gave birth to the Audiowhores.
