Interested in finding out how the Donmar’s glamourous musical City of Angels came to life?

The Donmar’s Open Workshops have been designed to let you find out more about the process of bringing this show to the stage. Through a range of practical, participatory exercises, games and discussions, the practitioners will lead you through some of the techniques used in the rehearsal room, and provide an insight into the decisions and concepts that shaped the production.

There will be opportunities to approach the text and take part in group improvisations and discussions in a friendly, relaxed and informal setting. Whether you are seasoned amateur actor, or a theatrical novice, the Open Workshops will give you a unique insight into City of Angels and their work.
