Japanese New Year Calligraphy Class

Yoko Takenami, author of The Simple Art of Japanese Calligraphy 2004, will lead a group of students through the traditional art of Japanese calligraphy. The class will focus on the Japanese tradition of writing resolutions on sheets of paper before the New Year in the hope of them coming true. All materials and tuition will be provided and beginners are welcome.
