A spectacular evening of African music, which follows the performance of The Rain That Washes, from the hugely exciting band Batanai from Harare, Zimbabwe.
Audiences and critics have been captivated by this compelling story of a 14-year-old boy who leaves Zimbabwe to join the revolution against white rule, and have heaped praise on this one-man show, awarding it four and five-star reviews.
Batanai, from Harare, offer high energy rhythms through their fusion music. Batanai means 'people let's get together'. Their blistering fusion of high energy rhythms, African Mbira and marimba music with vocals all combine to create a vibrant and captivating show!
