Accordionist, pianist and composer Maurizio Minardi gives us a taster of his upcoming new album 'The Cook, the Clown, the Monk and ...the Accordionist!' at Toulouse Lautrec with a music video filmed here at the Brasserie and starring our very own Chef. Reminiscent of Nino Rota, Yann Tiersen, Rene Aubry, Michael Nyman, Ennio Morricone and Sakamoto, Maurizio's intimate and expressive sound is defined by a daring and unique combination of genres from baroque to minimalist jazz fired up with splashes of tango and rumba.

The music of Maurizio Minardi's group is a daring mix of styles from jazz to minimalism, tango to classical, rumba to baroque, that form an intimate expression which is both unusual and original. Beside original compositions, the group play music by Astor Piazzolla, Richard Galliano, Django Rehinardt.
