Transcender 2014: Sahara Soul II
Sahara Soul II celebrates Saharawi, Tuareg, Berber and Mauritanian artists who represent the musical heritage of the nomadic communities in the North African region, following on from the hugely successful Sahara Soul night at the Barbican in January 2013, which honoured Mali’s diverse musical traditions. This show brings together a new generation of artists from across this vast and mystical region of North Africa who together on stage will perform the songs they know and love.
