Inspired by Edward Snowden’s revelations and the ensuing debate on state surveillance, Light portrays an Orwellian future where a totalitarian regime routinely employs implants and cyberspace to infiltrate its citizens’ minds.

Played out in intense darkness, the piece fuses anime-style storytelling and a layered soundscape to immerse audiences in its sci-fi realm. A nightmarish tale of love, betrayal and technological power is told, illuminated by flashes of LED, laser and torchlight.
