Stella Duffy

Stella Duffy is pretty darn busy. She’s the bestselling author of 13 books including the series centred around Saz Martin (lesbian, Londoner, private eye..); a theatre-maker and director. Most recently she’s been leading the awesomely ambitious ‘Fun Palaces’ project, first conceived by the trailblazing director Joan Littlewood. A Fun Palace is a ‘laboratory of fun’, ‘a university of the streets combining arts and sciences at the heart of our communities….’ launching this October. Here she tells us about how it went, plans for the future and her own craft of story-making.
