Street food has taken over. A few years ago cities around the world woke up to the fact that some of their best food was being served from the back of a van or at pop up stalls and food fairs appearing around the country.
But what is it about these types of startups that has grabbed everyone so firmly by the tastebuds? Aside from the deliciousness of their dishes, how do these entrepreneurs capture the attention of local food lovers?
In this Protein Forum we’re inviting some of our favourite culinary trailblazers to discuss what it takes to tap into the universal language of food, how to stand out in the rising sea of culinary start-ups. As interest in all things food gains seemingly universal appeal are we facing a backlash against this movement? And if so, how will these food pioneers survive that?
