Simply Soweto Encha are a five-piece a cappella group that sing gospel, soul, jazz, doo-wop, and R'n'B, both in African and popular styles. Originally hailing from the culturally rich township of Soweto, their show celebrates South Africa's oral and dance traditions by performing Zulu, Xhosa, and Swahili songs, full of rhythm and harmonies. Touring across Europe since 2008, their unique music style has generated great press reviews and standing ovations. The group's magical performances have led to many awards, including: The Spirit of Edinburgh - Edinburgh Fringe, Best Performance - Brighton Fringe and many more.
