Silent Sleep have slowly turned into one of Liverpool’s must-see acts, bombarding crowds with a stage show that includes two drummers, trumpets, violins, glockenspiels, as well as guitars and an impressive array of harmonies.
The band, led by Christopher McIntosh, have just finished recording their debut album, and having just been announced as headliners on The Anfield Wrap Stage at this year’s Liverpool Soundcity, as well as picking up radio play from Simon Raymonde (Bella Union) and Bethan Elfyn, who made the band her Artist of the Week on her Amazing Radio show, it looks like it’s going to be a good year for Silent Sleep.
