Barberos
Three piece, Liverpool band Barberos, would be defined as noise band in today's murky genre defining climate and by all means noise they do make.
Combining an eclectic mix of genres, including the obvious drum fuelled polly-rhythmic electro thrashings, Barberos infuse elements of jazz, noise, dub, break-core and prog, tribal-math double drumming led by flows of synth roaring, interrupted here and there by sidereal openings, wide-echoed progressive chords, accurately assembled rhythmic patterns, framed in heart racing theatrics using costume and projections to communicate their joyful danceable musings to their ever widening audience.
They first performed in late 2008 and since then have been touring relentlessly throughout the UK and Western Europe.
