The multi award-winning saxophonist/composer Denys Baptiste announces his new trio concept as he opens the page on a fresh, modern songbook for his latest project. Triumvirate teams Baptiste with double bassist Larry Bartley and drummer Moses Boyd. The arrangements are fluid, improvised pieces that retain their essence and familiarity, with the Triumvirate exploring the hidden corners of compositions ranging from Gnarls Barkley's Crazy to D'Angelo's Brown Sugar.
