Playwright Simon Stephens’ response to the terrorist attacks on London Tradsport system 7 July 2005; Live 8; the Olympics and the Gleneagles G8 summit with a structure that references Jacques’ Seven Ages of Man speech in Shakespeare’s As You Like It.

Pornography depicts a culture in which understanding and intimacy are lacking, refused, misread or (deemed to be) perverted. In its observation and dissection of the small, seemingly insignifi cant iniquities of everyday life, the play dramatizes the devaluation and erosion of qualities such as tolerance, trust, generosity, kindness and empathy.
