Never miss another 'Tina May' show
Tina May + Frank Harrison Trio
Tina May remains the most expressive and technically gifted of the current wave of female jazz singers. Tina's introduction to jazz started during her university days in Cardiff and Paris when she also developed her theatrical bent for comedy reviews, performing with Rory Bremner. Frank Harrison is best known to most jazz audiences as a member of Gilad Atzmon's 'Orient House' band, but here he shows his versatility by providing Tina with perfect support plus some wonderful piano soloing.

Tina has been a prominent part of the jazz scene since 1981 and won the BT British Jazz Award 1998 for Best Vocalist. A dusty soprano with a three octave range, she is a flexible, imaginative interpreter of both traditional and contemporary songs.
