We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming back the wonderful Karine Polwart to the Drill Hall for her third appearance with us. Nominated for 3 awards at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2013, The Guardian has described her as 'One of the finest singer-songwriters in Britain'.
Karine draws from folk music's long tradition while keeping pace with the ceaselessly changing times. Her talent for crafting unique, enduring melodies at the same time as drawing the listener towards her in the same way one might lean towards a late night tale by the fireside is extraordinary & wonderful!
