Jackie Oates
Since appearing as a finalist in the 2003 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards, Jackie has performed extensively at festivals and folk clubs across the country, in a solo capacity and with a number of bands. A founder member of Mercury nominated Rachel Unthank and the Winterset, she is now a member of the all-star fusion band Imagined Village alongside Martin & Eliza Carthy, Chris Wood and Simon Emmerson, who played at the Drill Hall in June of this year.

Jackie Oates is a rising star who was a BBC Young Folk Award finalist in 2003 and has since had a MOJO top 10 album, numerous gigs and festival appearances as well as tours with the legendary Show of Hands.
