Psychological tales
Psychological tales is an exploration of psychological states through the ages using contemporary music.
New works by Woolgar, Coleman and Scolding explore compelling mental narratives in texts dating from biblical times to the twenty-first century. They are interspersed with free improvisation based on graphic scores created especially for the ensemble.
These graphic scores, projected during the performance, are used as springboards into different states of mind, from hysteria and fear through to love and calm.
