Her awe-inspiring funeral, attended by seven million devoted followers, is the opening to the musical, with the narrator then bringing the story back by over a decade, explaining how a promiscuous B-movie actress became a saint to the people of Argentina.
The musical is famous for "Another Suitcase in Another Hall" and the famous "Don't Cry For Me Argentina".
