Leeds Best Of Brass Series 2014/15

The programme features Chaplin’s popular Smile, featuring a trombone solo by Chris Gomersall, Glenn Miller Tribute (arr Price and Forgie), Bond’s reflective Lest We Forget and Jenkins’ For The Fallen which is a setting of Laurence Binyon’s famous ode honouring the war dead.

The programme also includes other brass band favourites such as Scott & Russell’s popular ballad He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother (arr Crookes) which was a worldwide hit for The Hollies, Grainger’s Irish Reel Molly on the Shore (arr Snell) and Himes’ powerful Jubilance featuring a cornet solo by Iain Culross.
