King Creosote is the stage name of Scottish folk singer and songwriter Kenny Anderson. His powerful and cinematic new album From Scotland With Love is his first since his Mercury-nominated collaborative record with Jon Hopkins, Diamond Mine.
The album was originally composed to accompany a documentary film, so for the first time King Creosote found himself writing the stories and perspectives of other people. The result is a sweepingly charismatic set of songs with themes of love and loss, war and resistance.
