'Leeds' (1976): Discussion And A Game
Filliou visited Leeds in the 1970s to teach at the city's art school with Robin Page and Georges Brecht. He later made a work called 'Leeds' (1976). Derek Horton will chair a conversation with Geoffrey Teasdale and Doug Sandle who, as young artists, met Filliou in Leeds. This discussion will be followed by a playing of the game in the 'Leeds Weirdo Club' studio at East Street Arts.
This event is free of charge and open to all but booking is required. See www.henry-moore.org/hmi/events/Leeds-1976-Discussion-and-a-Game/book-a-place-at-this-event to book tickets.
