Hope Theatre Group

The Hope Theatre Group are returning to HEART Centre with a production of Macbeth, arguably one of the greatest of Shakespeare's plays and certainly one of the most popular.

The part of Macbeth will be played by Edward Thornton, a founder member of Opera North who has twice appeared at HEART in The Hope's recitals of music and poetry, and who played the title-role in our production of King Lear at Guiseley and Yeadon in 2010/11. Many of the other members of the cast took part in our highly successful production of The Winter's Tale at HEART last November.
