From Roman times to the 20th century, a motley collection of people have lived on the site of Treasurer’s House, next door to York Minster. Each has left their mark, but none more than Frank Green who bought the house in 1897. The most haunted house in York has a tale to tell – of Upstairs and Downstairs, royal visits and obsession, wealth and excess - and things that go bump in the night.
