A Christmas Concert For Kettering

The Virtuosi GUS Brass Band present a Concert for Kettering, featuring Belcanto Female Voice Choir and Hawthorn Community Primary School Choir for an evening of festive music.

The world famous Virtuosi GUS Band was founded in January 1933 by Mr Fred Felton under the name of the Munn & Felton Works Band. Within two years, they were the champions of Great Britain. Under the names of Munn and Felton, GUS (Footwear), The GUS Band, Rigid Containers Group Band, Travelsphere Holidays Band and now the Virtuosi GUS Band, the sound of Kettering brass has rung throughout Britain, Europe and America in concert halls, on television and radio and on records and CDs. Their most recent victory coming when they were crowned Midlands Champions in March 2014 for the 23rd time in their history.

The band continues to entertain concert audiences up and down the country and is delighted to be hosting a Christmas Concert for Kettering under the musical direction of Adam Cooke. A night not to be missed.
