The inside story of Tyneside’s most-loved band, told by drummer and founding member Ray Laidlaw and front man Billy Mitchell and illustrated by archive images and video. They will share fascinating stories from the group’s early days hustling for gigs to their rise to fame in the seventies – and you’ll find out how it feels to be compared to Bob Dylan and The Beatles. They’ll also play intimate acoustic versions of songs including Lady Eleanor, Meet Me on the Corner, Fog on the Tyne and Run for Home.
