The World’s Greatest Show is a dance-theatre work exploring the compelling and disturbing phenomenon of 1930s dance marathons during the American depression; human endurance contests where couples danced almost non-stop for hundreds of hours competing for prize money.

Choreographer Arthur Pita, who created The Little Match Girl which played to sell-out audiences last Christmas at the Jerwood DanceHouse, and the company is looking for sixteen local couples to join a cast of professional dancers on stage in The World's Greatest Show.

Local Couples should be available to attend all of the following dates:

Taster workshop:
Tuesday 1 July | 5.30 – 9.00pm

Rehearsals:
Wednesday 2 July | 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Saturday 5 July | 9.30am -12.30pm
Monday 7 July | 7.00pm – 9.00pm

Rehearsals and Performances:
