A Play, A Pie And A Pint - Lil
A play by Val Holmes
Following the Triple Trawler Tragedy of 1968, Lily Bilocca campagined vigorously for the safety of Hull's fishermen. She got results - and she paid a price.
Val Holmes is from Hull and a member of Hull Truck's Act III drama group. This is her first full length play.
The A Play, a Pie and Pint series are readings of brand new plays from the region's most exciting playwrights. Enjoy the play with a pie and a pint (or a soft drink!)
Pies and pints will be served from 5:00pm approx and the performance will begin at 6:00pm prompt. Pies and pints can be taken into the Studio theatre and consumed during the show.
