The final concert is a true gala event featuring the world famous Moscow Philharmonic and our own ever popular Julian Lloyd Webber. The orchestra will start with Tchaikovsky's powerful symphonic poem, Francesca da Rimini.

This will be followed by Julian Lloyd Webber's famed interpretation of Elgar's Cello Concerto with its lyrical beauty and elegiac poignancy. In the second half the orchestra will play Rachmaninov's final symphony, his great 3rd Symphony, which is a musical response to Rachmaninov's heartfelt love of Russia, the homeland which he knew he'd never return to.
