The Moors return to the Brunswick, bringing with them once again their delicious, fiery blend of Balkan gypsy grooves, crazed klezmer and trippy English folk-rock.

Here they are performing "Meltdown" from their recent EP, an original klezmer-funk song that misappropriates the Sex Pistols and David Bowie in its analysis of the economic downturn.

The Moors' five-piece line-up is sax/flute/accordion, fiddle, guitar, bass guitar/vocals, drums. The band originated in Hastings (where they opened the Jack-in-the-Green weekend at St Mary in the Castle in 2012), and have played around the South East and as far afield as Brecon in Wales over the past few years.

They will make your head dance - and your body will follow. Don't miss!

The Moors appearing at this event

The Moors exuberantly blend klezmer (with a hint of Sephardic roots), Balkan beats, Cuban rhythms and English folk-rock.
