This show is the UK launch of Jan?s long awaited new and eighth album, ?FREEDOM?S DAUGHTER? 2014. Recorded using vintage analogue technology and instruments, at London?s famous Eastcote Studios 2010-14, it presents a serious and generous collection of tour de force ballads and gentle groove based songs performed live by a terrific ensemble of top British musicians.
With trusty guitar and harmonicas Jan will be accompanied by the album players including Liam Genockey : drums, Jennifer Maidman : Bass & Electric Guitar , Alastair Gavin : Piano, Wurlitzer Organ & Electric Key. From Scotland, Clare Lindley on fiddle & vocals and with special guest Kate Shorrt on cello.
