The Day The Music Died

In January 1959 Buddy Holly began a tour of Americas mid-west and due to an untimely airplane accident on the 3rd February, Buddy was lost to us forever. That day would eventually become known as 'The Day The Music Died'.

55 years on, we present a celebration of Buddy’s music. From the early songs such as 'Blue Days, Black Nights' and 'Rock around with Ollie Vee' to 'True love Ways’, and 'It doesn’t Matter Anymore'.

This show proves that the music did not indeed die but lives on and is as vibrant and relevant as ever.
