Creative Writing and Performance Workshop
Welcome return of this outstanding performance poet whose live sets blend free musicality and innovative lyricism in a unique improvised theatre. Martin Daws’ work explores life, history, nature, and who the hell we think we are, anyway! He is also currently an enthusiastic Young People’s Laureate for Wales. A double Farrago Slam Champ, and runner-up in both the Glastonbury Festival Slam and the John Tripp Award for Spoken Poetry, Martin is also the author of Skin Tight the Sidewalk.
In today’s workshop participants will prepare a performance celebrating Dylan Thomas’ work, generating their own DT inspired poems as they go.
