Tina May

Jazzhouse are a latin/jazz/funk trio, known locally for their regular jazz gigs around Hitchin, and Tony has had an illustrious singing career having fronted the likes of the legendary jazz/rock combo the 'Fabalous Flintstones'. He appeared at the famous 'Star Club' in Hamburg, Germany alongside 'Ray Charles', 'Jerry Lee Lewis', 'Bill Haley & The Comets' and 'The Searchers' amongst many others.

The guest act for July is Tina May.

Tina has been a prominent part of the jazz scene since 1981 and won the BT British Jazz Award 1998 for Best Vocalist. A dusty soprano with a three octave range, she is a flexible, imaginative interpreter of both traditional and contemporary songs.

Tickets are £12 and can be bought on the door although advance ticket reservations are recommended.
