Cerys By Candlelight: Cerys Matthews
The ‘Cerys by Candlelight’ Tour will roll into Hebden Bridge on Tuesday December 11th and snuggle down at the Trades Club for a festive feast of music, poetry, and the purely unexpected that makes each and every Cerys Matthews live show a unique experience. Cerys will also have a new album ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’, featuring 15 winter faves, sung with great gusto and humour, two qualities that no doubt Cerys will be looking for when she visits the Trades Club.
The matinee performance is all ages, however it is advised that no children younger than 7 attend. The evening performance is over 18s only.
Cerys Matthews
Cerys Matthews first achieved fame as lead singer of the group Catatonia. She had an equally successful parallel solo career duetting with Tom Jones on the perennial classic Baby It's Cold Outside and with Space on The Ballad of Tom Jones, plus three critically acclaimed solo albums Cockahoop, Never Said Goodbye and Don't Look Down.
