Van Heeringen is originally from Holland, but now settled in the hills of northern Powys, Wales. She has worked on the acoustic music scene in Europe as a guitar, bass and fiddle player in several Cajun and old-time bands earning herself and her big guitar sound a sturdy reputation. You may know Vera from her stint as one part of the incredible comedic-musical trio, The New Rope String Band.
