St George And The Dragon Open Day
Come along and celebrate the legends of the patron saint of England.
10:30am - Storytelling: Nicki tells the story of George And The Dragon
Come and make a model dragon (materials provided) and maybe you could win a prize! (The prize is a family tickets to the next children's theatre show)
11:00am - By George! St. George – Saint, soldier, martyr, dragon slayer? Soop Theatre attempts to sort the truth from the myth about England's Patron Saint in a fast-paced 15 minute performance of hysterical fact and historical fiction.
1:00pm - Morris Men
Throughout the day:
Make a sword and shield ready to fight that smoke breathing dragon!
Style your own coat of arms to put on your shield or take home to decorate your bedroom door.
St George Patron Saint of England museum trail.
Face painting.
Dragons – Gift of the Night Fury' will be running in the museum.
Delicious dragon cupcakes will be available to purchase from the café.
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
