Book Group: How To Be Both By Ali Smith

The monthly book group is a chance to discuss some fantastic novels in
a relaxed and informal environment, over a glass of something tasty.

Shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2014, How to Be Both combines
two stories – one of a troubled teenager and the other about an
Italian fresco painter. Two tales of love and injustice twist together in
this novel that has been described by The Independent as “smart,
witty and arch, both utterly contemporary and vividly historical”. This evening’s book group will be led by Sophie Fullerlove, Director of The Spring.
